Instructions

  1. The marinade should be mixed with the chicken, and it should be allowed to marinate for at least three hours or overnight.
  2. Thread the chicken onto 8 skewers.
  3. A large pan should be heated over high heat to get the oil hot. For the skewers to be fully cooked, they must be cooked on both sides for three minutes.
  4. Served with flatbreads, tzatziki, and lettuce, the Chicken Souvlaki is perfect for sharing. Cooked chicken souvlaki should be served with tzatziki, homemade flatbread, and tzatziki sauce.

Tzatziki

  1. Slice the cucumber lengthwise. To remove the seeds, use a teaspoon. The cucumber should be coarsely grated using a box grater. Remove any excess liquid by wrapping the cucumber in a tea towel or paper towel.
  2. Add cucumber to a bowl. Mix in the remaining ingredients. Allow the flavours to blend for at least 20 mins.

Recipe Notes

1. Make ahead by putting the chicken marinade into ziplock bags, and freezing them immediately. As the chicken defrosts, it will begin to marinate. Thread the chicken onto skewers, and then cook according to recipe instructions.
