Tacos are such a delicious and versatile food . You can cook the chicken quickly on your stovetop with a simple spice mixture! Avocado, pico de gallo, and lime wedges are great additions!

These are the most straightforward chicken tacos to make on a weeknight.
The chicken is spiced using a simple rub of cumin, paprika, oregano, and garlic powder.The chicken is then cooked in a skillet.
Top the tortillas with pico de Gallo. I love to combine diced avocado, cilantro, and freshly squeezed lime juice.

Ingredients
- Chili Powder, 2 teaspoons
- Cumin grated to 1 teaspoon
- Smoked pepper paprika 1 teaspoon
- Oregano dried 1 teaspoon.
- A half teaspoon of garlic powder
- The seasoning can be adjusted by adding freshly ground black pepper and Kosher salt to taste.
- Skinless and boneless chicken thighs weighing 1 1/2 pounds
- Canola oil, 1 tablespoon
- Warm 12 mini flour tortillas
- Whether homemade or purchased, pico de gallo is delicious
- One avocado halved. Peeled. Seeded. Diced.
- Fresh cilantro chopped into a half cup
- 1 lime, cut into wedges

- In a small bowl, combine the chili powder with cumin and paprika. One teaspoon salt, half a teaspoon pepper, and one teaspoon garlic powder are added.
- Combine chili powder and chicken seasoning.
- A medium-high heat should be applied to the canola oil in a large skillet. In batches, cook the chicken in one layer on the skillet. Allow the chicken to cool down before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve chicken with tortillas, cilantro, avocado and pico de Gallo.
