Oyster Sauce Chicken is a delicious dish with chicken cooked in rich oyster sauce. The oyster sauce is made with soy sauce and other seasonings. It gives the dish a rich, Deliciousness flavor. The chicken is stir-fried with vegetables such as bell peppers or broccoli to create a balanced taste and texture. The dish is often served with rice or noodles and highlights the combination of earthy, sweet, and salty flavors.

Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken Thighs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (10 fluid ounces) bottle of oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar or more, in accor with taste
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Two teaspoons of minced garlic

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F). Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish lightly.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the baking dish, skin up. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in a warm up oven for 25 minutes.
  • In the meantime, combine oyster sauce, garlic, sugar and water in a large bowl. If you think it’s not sweet enough, add more sugar.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, and continue baking till the meat is no longer pink and the juices are clear. This should take about 20 minutes. The instant-read temperature thermometer must show 165 degrees F.
