Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs. Chicken wings (fresh or frozen)
  • Primal Kitchen Hawaiian Style Barbecue Sauce, 1 cup (or more according to taste).
  • 4 cans of pineapple slices
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper liberally season the wings after patting them dry.
  2. Pour 3/4 cup of BBQ Sauce over the wings in the slow cooker. Stir to coat evenly.
  3. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and place 4 pineapple slices on top of the wings.
  4. Cook on high or low for 2 hours.
  5. Once finished, throw away the pineapple. To crisp the wings, transfer them to a baking tray and brush with the remaining 1/4 cup of BBQ. Broil the wings for 2-5 mins, depending on how crispy you like your wings.

Notes

  • Thaw frozen wings before adding them to the slow cooker.
