Try this Chicken Jalfrezi recipe, featuring tender chicken in a rich, spicy tomato-based sauce with vibrant bell peppers.
When I return home, my dinner is a spicy curry and lots of Rice.
When you want a spicy curry, this jalfrezi will satisfy your craving.
I marinate my chicken with cumin and turmeric, followed by coriander. It doesn’t have to be too long. Just 10-15 minutes will do. After that, it takes 30 minutes to complete the task.
Fry the chicken marinated in butter and a small amount of oil.
Add sliced onion, chilies and garlic before adding the next layer.
The same spices you used for the marinade are now used in the sauce. We add a little bit of salt.
Then add the chopped peppers, tomatoes in a can, stock, and tomato purée. After about 10 minutes, the soup is ready.
There are many spices, a good kick of heat and plenty of sauce for the Rice.
